License and third-party notices

1. Original Tjkeys materials
Unless a file carries a separate license or third-party notice, the original code, documentation, artwork, and customizations authored by Dut A. for Tjkeys are proprietary. This includes the original Thuɔŋjäŋ (Dinka) keyboard layout implementation, language configuration, and application customizations, to the extent that copyright applies to those materials.
No ownership is claimed over the Thuɔŋjäŋ language, its alphabet, individual characters, linguistic facts, or text written by users of the keyboard.
Making this repository available does not grant a general license to copy, modify, redistribute, sublicense, or sell its proprietary materials. Such use requires prior written permission from Dut A., except where permitted by applicable law or separately granted terms. Rights granted by third-party licenses remain unaffected.
For permission requests, contact Dut A. through https://www.dutad.com and identify the materials and intended use.
2. Third-party components
Third-party software, fonts, icons, layouts, and other assets remain the property of their respective copyright holders and are governed by their own licenses. The proprietary terms above do not replace or restrict those licenses. Preserve all applicable copyright, attribution, and license notices when using or redistributing third-party materials.
The bundled Virtual Keyboard project by Mottie includes keyboard and caret code, extensions, and upstream language and layout definitions. Its upstream license identifies the keyboard and caret code as MIT-licensed and upstream language and layout definitions as licensed under the WTFPL, version 2. These upstream terms apply to the corresponding third-party materials, not automatically to original Tjkeys additions.

Other bundled libraries and assets retain the terms stated in their files or accompanying notices. Consult the license for the specific bundled version; a link to an upstream project does not replace any requirement to include license text or attribution with a distribution.
3. Warranty and liability for original Tjkeys materials
To the extent permitted by applicable law, original Tjkeys materials are provided "as is" and "as available", without express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Dut A. is not liable for damages arising from their use or inability to use them, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded. Third-party components remain subject to their own warranty and liability provisions.
